Company Background

The Maven Life is a lifestyle blogger in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

The problem

The Maven Life came to us with two different businesses, the first, a life-style blog, and the second, an e-commerce shop known as Bellawoods. She noticed there was a lack of cohesion between the two business, and sought our help on how to make the two businesses feel more like sisters rather than distant cousins. She was using a third party e-commerce provider that lacked flexibility and was costing her a fee every month to upkeep. 

 

The Solution

Through a detailed discovery session, we established that it was in her best interest to combine both her blog and boutique into a one-stop-shop. We set up a blog solution that allowed her to clearly display affiliate links, blog posts with generated ad revenue, and a shop directly on the blog that allows users to easily shop. We also re-did her branding to modernize it and give the company a unique, feminine flair.
